I think that my trip demonstrates the impact that engineering has had on the modern world by how versatile my destinations are. Engineering has literally shaped our world today, form the wonders of the world being built to more modern day pieces that still stand today. Engineering is everywhere around us, from cars to buildings to even the clothes we wear. I like to think that fashion is a little like engineering or at least like architectural because you have to take into account how a piece will flow on a person's body or how it will lay on the body's curves, as well as the design aspect of it all. I want to go into Civil engineering , but I still do not know what I would do. With a civil engineering degree, I would like to work for a company that builds schools and hospitals for low income neighborhoods, as well as in third world countries. I want to contribute to the field of engineering by helping others in need. Of course, I would like to contribute to cool and unique projects, but I would prefer to change someone or many other's lives by designing something that could improve other's. As the semester has gone on, I thought I wanted to become a civil engineer to design and build unique structures, but now my reasoning has changed. I want to become a civil engineer to design and build something that is beautiful, something that makes you feel something when you see it. I also want to become a civil engineer because I want to help other's in need.
